The ladies wrapped up their regular season tonight versus St. Nicholas. The 7th-grade team fell in two sets 15-25 and 18-25. Lillian Scheibler was the top server with 8 points, followed by Elsa Schneider with 7 points and Maci Smith with 6 points.
The 8th-grade team finished with a win in two sets. 25-15 and 25-21. The Cards came from behind in the second set to get the win. Campbell Miles led the way in scoring with 15 points, including 5 aces. Maci Smith added 10 points, and Ava Hollins contributed 8 points that included 2 aces. Bella Watson and Natalie Kranz contributed defensively to the victory, and Izzy Dierckman brought big energy to the court. The ladies once again demonstrated great teamwork, especially coming back after being down in the second set.
The Cards begin tournament play on Monday at SLS at 5:30 pm versus Greendale MS.
