St. Louis’ Lady Cardinals went 1-1 in the OA Classic 8th Grade Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.
St. Nicholas took Game 1 in two sets, 25-20 and 25-16. Campbell Miles led the way serving for St. Louis with nine points and two aces.
Izzy Dierckman added eight points.
St. Louis came back in the second game vs. St. Michael, where the Cardinals notched their first win of the season.
St. Michael won the first set, 25-22, but St. Louis fought their way back to win the second and third sets, 25-20 and 15-8.
Ava Hollins serving helped secure the win and ended up with 11 total points.
Bella Watson had strong defensive plays in what coach Ashley Kranz called a total team effort.
The Cards have home games this Tuesday and Thursday at 6 pm.
