One person flown from two-vehicle crash

Decatur County, IN — The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash late Sunday afternoon at the intersection of County Roads 1000 South and 100 West that resulted in serious injuries.

When deputies arrived, both a pickup truck and an SUV were overturned in fields at the intersection.

The occupants of the SUV were trapped in the wreckage but were removed from the vehicle by firefighters.

A passenger in the SUV was taken by Lifeline Helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

There’s no word on that person’s condition.
