Dillsboro, IN — Residents in Dillsboro had to deal with another water main break late last week. The water main break, according to Dillsboro Utilities, occurred Friday morning on North Street between Holland Drive and State Road 262.
Two water line breaks also happened early last week. City officials say that aging lines are causing the frequent breaks. The Town of Dillsboro has a $2.9-million project to replace water lines that is set to begin later this month.
A water boil advisory is in place for residents along North Street from Holland Drive to State Road 262. Residents may see cloudy water if they live in that area. The water boil advisory will be in place until tomorrow, Tuesday, August 2nd, pending the return of a water test.
