GREENSBURG, IN — Ellie Acra was named Miss Decatur County at the 2022 pageant Friday night at Greensburg High School.
Acra was crowned by 2021 Miss Decatur County Grace Reiger.
Acra is a 2020 graduate of Greensburg High School who will be a junior this fall at Purdue University, where she is majoring in communications.
She will reign over the Decatur County 4-H Fair, which runs July 7 through the 13, and will perform other duties throughout the year.
Acra will also represent Decatur County in the 2023 Miss Indiana State Fair Pageant.
Taylor Smith was named 1st runner-up, Abigail Hartman was chosen as 2nd runner up and Taeylor Phelps was named Miss Congeniality.
A total of seven contestants took part in this year’s pageant.
