Mrs. Sharon Kay (Bowling) Lewis Wolford, age 67, of Switzerland County, Indiana, entered this life on March 10, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Pearl and June Geneva (Adams) Bowling. She was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where she attended school. On April 4, 1996, Sharon was united in marriage to Timothy Wolford in Greensburg, Indiana. Sharon and Tim shared over 25 years together until he passed away on July 25, 2021. Sharon was a former machine operator for Elco Textron in Greensburg, Indiana for eight years. She was a wonderful homemaker and loving grandmother. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Sharon also enjoyed flowers, gardening and traveling. Sharon passed away at 1:05 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Sharon will be missed by her children, Jennifer Clark and her husband, Mark of Vevay, IN, Amanda Kelley and her husband, Justin of English, KY, Sarah Hollin and her companion, Elmer Oder of East Enterprise, IN, David Lewis and his wife, Christa of Vevay, IN, Laura Kennedy and her husband, Earl Allen of Vevay, IN, Cassandra Wolford and her husband, Jhonda of Dayton, OH and Tina Wolford of Dayton, OH; her 15-grandchildren and 6-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Pearl and June Geneva (Adams) Bowling; her husband, Timothy Wolford and her brothers, Ronnie and Gary Bowling.
A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held at a later date.
