STATEWIDE — The Indiana Department of Natural Resources will offer a pair of Free Fishing Days at its facilities Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and 5.
On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or trout/salmon stamps to fish in the state’s public waters.
All other rules such as seasons, bag and size limits apply.
DNR says this is an excellent opportunity to learn how to fish, take your family fishing, or introduce a friend to fishing.
The next Free Fishing Day on DNR properties will take place on September 24.
