Greensburg water customers receiving reprinted invoices due to billing glitch

GREENSBURG, IN — The Greensburg Water Office has sent out reprinted invoices for the bill due May 17 due to possible errors.

A message sent to customers states that those who have already paid their bill but overpaid will receive a credit.

Those who have not paid yet are urged to pay the amount on the reprinted bill.

Another message will be sent to customers about re-printed bills and penalty corrections.

The billing errors happened after new software was installed in the city’s Utility Office.

Officials say the glitch has been identified and fixed.
