JOHNSON COUNTY, IN — Avian influenza is now affecting birds in Central Indiana.
The Indiana State Board of Animal Health says over 40 chickens, ducks, and peafowl in Johnson County are infected.
The flu was previously detected at six turkey farms in Southern Indiana and six duck farms in the Northern part of the state.
