SOUTHEASTERN IN — It was a mixed bag on the local unemployment front last month.
According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Decatur County had the lowest unemployment rate in the area in March at 2.4 percent, which was up one-tenth of a percent from 2.3 the month before.
Ripley, Franklin, and Dearborn counties were each at 2.5 percent last month.
Ripley County’s jobless rate was down one-tenth of a percent from 2.6, while Franklin and Dearborn counties held steady for the second straight month.
