Batesville’s 4×800 relay teams earned a spot in the exclusive Franklin Central Showcase.  The event featured some of the top track and field athletes from around the state.

The girls foursome of Megan Allgeier, Kaylnn Bedel, Lily Pinckley and Kaylie Raver pulled off a top five finish while the boys bunch of Ean Loichinger, Daren Smith, Isaac Trossman and Benjamin Moster placed 11th.

Batesville coach Lisa Gausman noted the weather was not ideal for racing.  High gusty winds and some rain made for a very tough race.   But she congratulated her eight athletes for qualifying for the showcase and their performances.
