George W. Kowalski, 86, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
He was born March 25, 1936, in Watervliet, NY, son of the late George Francis Kowalski and Beatrice (Purcell) Kowalski.
George served his country as a member of the United States Army.
He worked as a trucker for GW Kowalski Trucking. George and his wife were a trucker team and they have traveled across the country from coast to coast. His trucker handle was ‘Boston Blackie’.
George liked to play poker on the computer and he enjoyed golfing.
George is survived by his loving spouse of almost 68 years, Marcia(Weaver) Kowalski, sons, Glen (Angela ) Kowalski of Aurora, IN, and Greg (Linda) Kowalski of Albany, NY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Beatrice; sons, George Kowalski, Guy Kowalski, and Gary Kowalski; daughter, Marcy Brennan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
