The Ohio River Valley Conference has announced its Players of the Week for the first time this spring season:
- Baseball- Southwestern’s Zach Cole (5 hits, 4 runs, 3-2B, 2 RBI, SB / 6-1/3 IP, 2 runs, 13 Ks in win) and Rising Sun’s Jonathan Jimenez (4 hits, 5-2/3 IP, 0 hits, 0 runs, 11 K’s in win).
- Softball- South Ripley’s Mady Tompkins (5 hits, 2 RBI in 2 games / 6 IP, 2 hits, 15 Ks going 2-0) and Southwestern’s Ashley Fulton (8 RBI, 8 runs, 7 hits, 3 HR, 2B, 3B, SB in 4 games).
- Boys Golf- Rising Sun’s Casey Fletcher (38 at The Links at Rising Sun).
- Track- Jac-Cen-Del’s Kayla Simon (100 hurdles 17.50), Cloey Simon (long jump 14’7”, 300 hurdles 49.70) and Rising Sun’s Kendall Montgomery (long jump 20’6”).
