Switzerland County lost 13-6 in its season opener to Scottsburg. The Pacers Bryce Turner smacked a grand slam.

Oldenburg suffered a 7-6 heartbreaking loss to Union County.  The Twisters tallied 11 hits with four coming from Caleb Greiwe.  That included a double.  Cy Muckerheide and Jacob Hoff both had multiple hits OA as well.  Jacob Stenger was the pitcher of record for the Twisters in the loss.

Milan got a 10-7 season opening victory over Shawe.  Holden Acra, Eli Herd and Jeremiah Johnson each drove in two runs for the Indians.  Dylan Thomas shut down the Hilltoppers in the final two innings to help preserve the win.

Shawe finished with 13 hits in the loss.  Philip Kahn and Jacob Hertz both logged three with an RBI each.  Tyler Hill had a pair of hits with two ribbies.

North Decatur fell 2-1 to Morristown.  The Charger offense was stymied by Yellow Jacket pitcher Grant Kessler who struck out 19 batters.
