Sandra J. Craig, 79, of Manchester, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
She was born January 27, 1943, in Manchester, IN, daughter of the late Carl Ellinghausen and Lois (Gosney) Ellinghausen.
Sandra retired from Dearborn County Hospital with over 40 years of service in various departments.
She was a lifetime member of the Zion Lutheran Church as well as serving on the Cemetery Association for numerous years. She also participated in the womens ZALCW for several years and belonged to the Homemaker’s Club.
Sandra loved to cook and bake. She was well known for her sugar cookies and pies. She also enjoyed sewing. Her greatest joy though was the 2nd (now 3rd) generation farm that she lived on. Her Belted Galloway (Oreo) cows were what she raised.
Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was always in attendance at any activity or function they were in. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Sandra is survived by her loving spouse of almost 60 years, John Craig, children, Tammy (Melvin) Wohlfrom of Dillsboro, IN, Lisa Huddleston of Aurora, IN, J. C. Craig of Aurora, IN; siblings, Larry (Barbara) Ellinghausen of Cold Springs, KY, Wanda (Dave) Scott of Milan, IN; grandchildren, Joe Wohlfrom, Jenne Kelly, Jake Wohlfrom, John Wohlfrom, Julee Redwine, Jeff Wohlfrom, Breanna Huddleston, Alex Shackelford, Katelyn McCreary, Kaden Kelly, Averi Childers, and Kyan Childers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lois.
Friends will be received on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Zion Lutheran Church, 10629 State Road 48, Sunman, IN.
