Reds split Monday/Tuesday games with Cubs and Rangers

In Cactus League play from late Monday night in Arizona, the Reds lost to the Cubs 4-2.  Chicago scored three times in the final two innings to pull off the victory.

Runs batted in for Cincy came on a first inning ground out by Kyle Farmer and a second inning solo shot to left center by Aramis Garcia.  Tyler Naquin singled and doubled. Tony Santillan threw two innings of scoreless relief with three strikeouts.

The Reds whipped up on the Rangers Tuesday 7-1.  Pitcher Nick Lodolo tossed three innings of no-run, one-hit baseball with three strikeouts.  T.J. Friedl belted a two-run homer in the eighth and Brandon Drury drove in a couple of runs.
