Patricia Thomas, 86, Osgood

Patricia M. Thomas, 86, of Osgood passed away at 2:50pm, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was born near Osgood on July 9, 1935, the daughter of Roy and Grace Stork Landes. She was married to William Thomas on October 5, 1957 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2002. Survivors include one daughter Karen (Tim) Wilburn of Osgood; daughter-in-law Jan Thomas of Osgood; three grandchildren Nicole Wilburn of Milan, and Paige Thomas and Riley Thomas both of Osgood; great-grandson Brady Alcorn. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her son Roy Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was a 1953 graduate of Osgood High School. The day after her high school graduation, Pat embarked upon a 40 year career with the Ripley County Bank in Osgood where she worked as a teller and also in the loan department. She enjoyed reading, and following IU basketball, the Reds, and the Bengals. Pat was a member of the Osgood United Methodist Church. Pat’s wishes were to be cremated and burial will follow at a later date in the Greendale Cemetery in Osgood. Memorials may be given to the Osgood Fire Department in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
