For a third time this season, South Decatur’s Hunter Johnson has been named an IBCA Boys Basketball Player of the Week for District 3.

Last week against Oldenburg, Johnson scored 29 points and made all nine of his free throws.  He also collected 10 rebounds, two assists and three steals.

Then in the final regular season game against Knightstown, Johnson poured in 39 points with four bombs and 7-of-8 free throw shooting.  He also amassed 19 boards for his 11th double-double of the season and had four swipes.

We thank the IBCA for the Player of the Week information.
