GREENSBURG, IN — A Greensburg man who changed his plea in a two-and-a-half-year-old murder case was sentenced Monday in Decatur Superior Court to 45 years in prison.
Thirty-nine-year-old Adam Naderman changed his plea from Not Guilty to Guilty But Mentally Ill in connection with the October 2019 killing of his 73-year-old father.
Albert F. Naderman (pictured) was found dead at his home on the 1600 block of North Tyrel Avenue West on October 17, 2019.
His son Adam was arrested and charged several days later.
Naderman, his attorney Mark Jones, and Decatur County Prosecutor Nate Harter appeared at a change of plea hearing in January before Decatur Superior Court Judge Matthew Bailey, in which Naderman asked to switch his plea.
Judge Bailey agreed to the plea change and imposed the penalty following a sentencing hearing that took place Monday afternoon in Decatur Superior Court.
