Deputies with the Franklin County Sheriffs Department responded to two vehicle accidents that required medical attention last week.
On Monday morning, police were called to Springfield Township around 6 a.m.
According to police, 34-year-old Craig Maddock of Cedar Grove was traveling north of Springfield Road when he stopped for the stop sign at the intersection of Springfield and Oxford Pike.
Marshall Woolum, 24, of Eaton, Ohio, was traveling behind Maddock and was unable to stop his 1998 Chevrolet Blazer in time. Woolum’s vehicle struck the rear of Maddock’s 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. Woolum was transported to McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford for injuries.
No word on his current condition.
Police responded to another vehicle crash on Morris Road, between St. Mary’s Rd. and Pine Rd. in Butler Township on Friday morning.
Michael Moore, 29, of Batesville was traveling south in his 1999 Toyota Avalon when he attempted to pass another vehicle traveling in the same direction, according to police. Moore went off of the east side of the road, striking a cement driveway culvert and went airborn.
He was transported to Margaret Mary Health for treatment of injuries. Police did not release his current condition.
