SUNMAN, IN — Former Ripley County Sheriff Tom Grills was sworn in last night as the interim Sunman Town Marshal.
Grills will fill the vacancy created by the recent firing of Jason Hoffman while the town looks for a permanent replacement.
The swearing-in took place at the beginning of the regular monthly Sunman Town Council meeting.
Grills served as Ripley County Sheriff from 2007 until 2014.
