BATESVILLE, IN — Additions to Batesville Middle School have been put to good use this school year, but an Open House to show off the new space was postponed due to the pandemic.
Plans are in the works to hold an open house but a date hasn’t been announced yet.
When the doors are opened to the public, stakeholders will be able to see new office space, and music and band rooms.
“Also, we’d like to show people the new Bulldog Center in the old choir room, and since we built a new choir room, we were able to turn the old choir room into a large group, flexible seating space,” said Batesville Schools Superintendent Paul Ketcham. “The Batesville Community Education Foundation donated $23,000 to help us furnish that.”
In addition, a new sign was installed in front of the newly-expanded building.
