Eagle and Charger boys win during Thursday’s boys bball slate

The following are boys high school basketball recaps from Thursday, December 16. There may be updates, so please check back.

Jac-Cen-Del got a big ORVC win at Southwestern Hanover 64-56.

The Osgood boys led by as many as nine in the first half but held just a 29-27 advantage at the break.  A key to the Eagles victory over the previously unbeaten, Class 2A-11th ranked Rebels was 11 of 13 free throw shooting in the fourth quarter.

Caleb Simon’s 22 points and 21 by Wyatt Day led JCD.  Matt Dickman added 11. Zach Cole’s 19 points were tops for Southwestern. Colton Cloud contributed 13 and Jamison Lewis logged 11.

(JV) Southwestern’s JV beat Jac-Cen-Del 47-37.

Top scorers for the Eagle reserves were Corbin White with 10, Brady Comer with seven and Caleb White with six.

(VAR) North Decatur held off Cambridge City Lincoln 63-62. 

The Chargers held a four point advantage heading into the fourth quarter.

ND’s Blake Spears connected on five triples on his way to 25 points.  Lance Nobbe tallied 20 points and Kaden Muckerheide netted nine.

(JV) The North Decatur JV cruised past Cambridge City Lincoln 51-18. 

Brayden Hancock was the top Charger scorer with 11 points.  Five others posted a half-dozen each: Aiden O’Dell, Cooper Parmer, Brady Mauer, Jack Koehne and Mason Morris.
