December 11 girls high school basketball recaps

The following are girls high school basketball recaps from Saturday, December 11.  There may be updates, so please check back.

Jac-Cen-Del beat Morristown 58-29. 

The JCD defense held the Yellow Jackets to single digit scoring in each quarter.

The Eagles Desiree Sparks dialed up a double double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.  Both Jalee Rider and Oliva Neal netted nine each.  Annabelle Williams logged eight points, seven boards, seven steals and four assists.

Reagan Kleine and Danika Rutledge posted seven points each for Morristown. Rutledge led the team in rebounding with five while Kleine contributed three assists and three steals.

Hauser defeated South Dearborn 69-61. 

The Jets Madelyn Poe put in 29 points to go along with seven steals, six assists and four rebounds.  Kyliegh Parrott added 11 points.

In the loss for the Knights, Keirsten Dixon led with 13 points, Jillian Bond scored 12 and Bernedette Wismann had 10.

Lawrenceburg downed Connersville 47-36. 

LHS got an early 17-5 jump over the Spartans.

Kirsten Cross had 15 points for the Tigers.  Teammate Chloe Meyer scored 14 and had four assists.  Lizzie Redar logged a game-high nine rebounds and chipped in six points.

Paige Dunaway netted 11 points for CHS.

Rushville edged Greensburg 50-48. 

The Lions trailed 32-27 at the half.

Sophia Dora’s 13 points led Rushville.  Bella Gossett scored 12.  Lexi Morris had just four points but pulled down a dozen rebounds.

For the Pirates, Leah West posted 14 points. Kayla Tamm scored 13, Mylie Wilkison netted 10 and Carlee Adams struck three times from distance for nine.
