Sherry (Kinman) Meeks, 57, of Lawrenceburg passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Mercy West in Ohio. Sherry was born on Saturday, August 1, 1964 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana; daughter of Earnest and Sharon (Laswell) Kinman. She married David Meeks on August 2, 2009. Sherry oversaw the Human Resources department for 21 years for Argosy Casino. She had multiple hobbies which included, but not limited to, antiquing, traveling, yard sales, DIY projects, crafting, fashion, decorating, and going to concerts.
Sherry is survived by her husband, David Meeks, of Lawrenceburg; son Casey Lacey (Kayla Tenhover) of Harrison, Ohio; daughter Katelyn (Max) Trentman of Louisville, Kentucky; stepdaughters Kelly (Joe) Buckler of Kentucky and Kristy (Lee) Steele of Cincinnati, Ohio; her parents, Earnest and Sharon Kinman of Milan; brother Billy (Andy) Kinman of Milan; and grandchildren Madelyn Trentman, Hollice Lacey, Avery Larkin, and Gabriel Lacey.
Sherry is preceded in death by her sister Tina Wells.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Sherry from 5 – 7 PM Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following at 7:00 PM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating.
