Mrs. Beverly Jean (Roberts) Harman, age 81, of Bennington, Indiana, entered this life on August 30, 1940 in Winamac, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Alberta (Smith) Roberts. Beverly was raised in Logansport, Indiana where she was a 1958 graduate of the Logansport High School. Beverly was united in marriage to Donald Keith Harman on September 2, 1959 in Rochester, Indiana. This happy union was blessed with two sons, Brad and Bryan. Beverly and Donald shared over 56 years of marriage together until his passing on December 8, 2015. Beverly was employed for Indiana Bell in Winamac, Indiana and as a desk clerk for Best Western and Cardinal Hotels in New Castle, Indiana for several years. In 1977, the family moved to the Switzerland County community. Beverly was employed for the Plastic Molding Factory in East Enterprise, Indiana and for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana for several years. She was later employed as a customer service manager for Walmart in Madison, Indiana where she retired after several years of service. Beverly enjoyed cooking, shopping, reading and playing card games. Beverly passed away at 8:59 p.m., Sunday, December 5, 2021, at the St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Beverly will be missed by her sons, Brad Harman of Bennington, IN and Bryan Harman of Madison, IN; her grandson, Adam Harman of Bennington, IN; her sisters, Anna Day of Royal Center, IN, Mary Seivers and her husband, David of Logansport, IN and Shirley Joseph and her husband, Dick of Royal Center, Indiana and her several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Alberta (Smith) Roberts; her husband, Donald Keith Harman and her grandson, Jeremy Harman.
A Celebration of Beverly’s Life will be held at a later date in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
