The 8th grade St. Louis Cardinals basketball team opened up their season against Jac-Cen-Del. St. Louis was defeated 29-16.
The Cards played tough defense, especially in the first half, and had a combined 13 steals. Ian Dickey led the team with 6 points and Will Harmeyer added 5.
The Cardinals travel to Brookville next Tuesday for game #2.
