Eric “Ricky” Lee Buckhave, age 70 of Sunman, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born in Batesville, Indiana on October 26, 1950 to Donald and Lorraine Buckhave (nee Miller). Ricky was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during Vietnam.
Ricky is survived by his sons, Phillip Buckhave, Michael (Amber) Buckhave; his grandchildren, Courtney, Katlyn, Payton, and Parker; his four great-grandchildren; his sisters, Sue Flannery, Pam Byrd, Kay Wakeman, Lindy (Dave) Lipps, Brenda (Mark) Schwab, and Tina (Phillip Merkel) Buckhave; his brothers, Gary (Pat) Buckhave, Bobby Buckhave, and Dale Buckhave; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Kari Buckhave; niece, Tiffany Buckhave; nephew, Andy Rehn; and brother-in-law, Dannie Flannery.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 11 am. A Rosary service will be held at 9:30 am followed by visitation until the time of Mass at All Saints Paris – St. Paul Campus, 9788 North Dearborn Road, New Alsace, IN 47022.
Memorial Mass donations may be directed to All Saints Paris – St. Paul Campus in memory of Ricky, 25743 State Road #1, Guilford, IN 47022 or to St. Paul Cemetery.
