BATESVILLE, IN — The City of Batesville and Paul H. Rohe Company have released next week’s road construction work schedule for next week:
Closure on Mitchell from Columbus Avenue to 341 Mitchell for stormwater drainage improvements from Monday, October 4 through the following Monday, October 11.
Culvert replacements on Coonhunters Road starting Wednesday, October 6 from County Road 1400 North to Pohlman Street. The road will be closed to thru traffic. Crews will be working out of small closures that will allow residents on Coonhunters to access their driveways on either side of the closure, with an estimated four days for work to be completed.
Volz Street will be closed between Park Avenue and Legion Road on Tuesday, October 5 for one day for pavement replacement at the intersection of Volz and Park Avenue. All residents will have full access to driveways.
Mulberry Street from Columbus to Pearl Street will be under construction for concrete improvements starting Wednesday, October 6. Work includes improved sidewalk, curb, and ADA ramps. Work will be performed off the road and will allow traffic to pass through.
Pedestrians and motorists should use caution.
Milling and paving will begin on all streets that have been under construction around October 18 and the work is expected to be completed on October 29.
All work is weather-dependent.
