Oldenburg won Tuesday’s Franklin County boys soccer match over the Wildcats 6-1.
“We were very slow to the ball in the first half not putting the pressure on we should be doing, said OA coach Kenny Getz. “We talked about that at halftime and came out fired up in the second half.”
“We got some nice help off the bench by several boys,” Getz remarked. “Jacob Hilbert got two goals and Henry Wanstrath played a nice head ball he put in the back of the net off a great cross for an assist by Michael Weisbrod. Alex Matacia had a clean slate in goal in the second half.
Coach Getz also was grateful to see past players, past parents and “hopefully” future players come out to support the Twisters Tuesday.
