Claudia Jane Metz Tucker, 93, formerly of Greensburg passed away on August 15, 2021. She was born on May 31, 1928 in New Point, Indiana the daughter of William and Mamie Parmer Metz. Claudia was a 1946 graduate of New Point High School. On May 2, 1948 she married Clinton R. Tucker and together they had four children, William, David, Robert, and Deborah. Claudia worked at Union Bank and Trust and was a Jail Matron. She was member of the First Christian Church and was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include: Children, William (Blair) Tucker, David (Beth) Tucker, Robert (Eileen) Tucker, and Deborah (Dale) Brockman; Grandchildren, Joseph (Samantha Spergel) Tucker, Dan (Larra) Tucker, Shawn (Sabrina) Brockman, Shannon (Darrian) Johnson, Lori Brockman, Ryan (Lindsey) Tucker, Katie (Ryan) Dorrell, Luke Tucker, Kelly Tucker, and Will Tucker; 13 Great Grandchildren; and Sister, Marilyn Metz. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband Clinton Tucker, and Brothers, George Metz and Arthur Metz.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 10:00 until the Order of Eastern Star Ceremony at 11:00 am. The funeral services will follow with Rev. Mark Vice officiating. Burial will follow at the Rossburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the New Point Christian Church.
