Construction has resumed at the Steak ‘n Shake site in Batesville. As the building takes shape, aspiring patrons are getting a step closer to ordering a signature steak burger and shake.
According to building owner, Beverly Broughton, the business will open between late December and early January.
A ribbon cutting and ground breaking on the site was held in March, however, setbacks have postponed the development of the business. The burger and shake franchise was originally scheduled to open in July.
The restaurant is located by CVS near the east bound exit ramp of Interstate 74.
