Geneva Township, IN — Friday, Jennings County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the request for a welfare check in Geneva Township. While attempting to make contact with the residents of the home, deputies allege to have observed drug paraphernalia inside the home through an open window. The deputies then applied for and were granted a search warrant through Jennings County Circuit Court.
Upon execution of the search warrant, deputies located numerous syringes, paraphernalia, and suspected methamphetamine. As a result, Gregory D. Loper, 50, of North Vernon was arrested on allegations of Maintaining a common nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Syringe, and Possession of paraphernalia.
