Patty Ellen (Smith) Savage, 77, of Milan, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 in Lawrenceburg at St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital. She was born on Thursday, May 13, 1943 in Greentown, Indiana to Bernard Smith and Anne Elizabeth Wilson. Patty married her husband, George Savage, on July 14, 1984 and he preceded her in death December 2, 2013. Patty was a member of the Route 46 Pentecostal Church of St. Leon. She enjoyed crocheting, watching the birds, and watching older TV shows. She loved her time spent with family and grandchildren.
Patty will be dearly missed by her sons Cody Savage of Rising Sun, Ronald Land of Dillsboro, and Terry Land of Aurora; stepson David Savage of Indiana; daughters Linda Land of East Enterprise and Barbara Land of Sunman; stepdaughters Georgia Oaks of Springfield, Ohio, and Arlena Loney of Versailles; brother Lawrence Smith; half-sisters Joyce Hill of Aurora and Faye Belew of Aurora; sixteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Patty was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Savage, her parents, two grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
Family and friends may gather to remember Patty from 5 – 6 PM Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at 6 PM with Pastor Adrian Collins officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Patty to the American Heart Association.
