Lady Wildcats Softball Team Cools Off Lady Red Devils

The Franklin County Varsity Softball team traveled north to Richmond for its second game in as many days. The Wildcats were able to pick up their second win in a row behind brilliant pitching from Bree Bischoff and a complete hitting effort throughout the whole lineup. 

The Wildcats jumped on the Red Devils early and never looked back. Franklin County started the game off with 6 runs off of 7 hits in the top of the first inning. Then Bischoff started her brilliant day in the circle where she was dominant throughout the game. After adding 1 run in the second inning and 5 more runs in the top of the fourth inning, the Wildcats found themselves up 12-0 and that deficit proved too much to overcome.

Bischoff finished off the complete game in the fifth inning, picking up her first win in the circle of the season. Here are your statistical leaders from the game:
