McCreanor’s Walk-off Picture Perfect Ending In Indiana Ignite 10U’s Victory Over Harrison Heat 10u to win Florence Yall’s Frozen Rope Tournament.
Indiana Ignite 10U took Sunday’s championship game in dramatic fashion, with an 11-10 walk-off victory over Harrison Heat 10u. Indiana Ignite 10U trailed 10-9 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Cayden McCrranor singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Indiana Ignite 10U collected nine hits and Harrison Heat 10u had seven.
Harrison Heat 10u opened up scoring in the first inning. Player singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
Indiana Ignite 10U tallied five runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Hank Gavin and Lincoln Heim, by Cayden, and by Aubrey Cuomo.
Hunter Smith led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Indiana Ignite 10U. Hunter lasted one inning, allowing three hits and five runs.
