Cora Roth added 5 points. Paige Watters and Isabel Imel chipped in 2 each. Meg Ritter is credited with a stingy defense that kept St. Michael off balance.

On Wednesday Night, The Lady Cardinals hosted St. Nicholas and lost by a final score of 17 to 12.

The Cardinals were forced to end the game with 4four players due to injuries and illness. Suttmann had 8 points and Roth completed the scoring with 4 points.

the St. Louis 5th Grade Lady Cardinals traveled to OA to play St. Nicholas.  This was our last season’s game for the year.  The girls played a great game and came out with a victory of 11-6.

Scoring points for SLS were Jersey Trenkamp with 4 pts, Grace Copley, Aubrey Baker, and Ava Becker all bringing 2 pts each, and Maggie Tekulve with 1 pt.

These girls all worked extremely hard during this game to ensure a victory.  It was truly a great game and fun to coach them through.  Nice job this season ladies.  We ended with a 7-0 season!

The St. Louis 6th Grade girls finished their season 7-0 after a 30 – 2 victory over St. Nicholas.

The Lady Cardinals used their stout defense to create turnovers and played very unselfish basketball on the offensive end to break open the game early. Riley Siegel played her best game of the year as she used turned three baskets of her 8 total points to help the Lady Cardinals jump out to an 18 to 2 halftime lead.

Gina Grote spread the ball around to find the open person all through the game. She added 4 points as well. Belle Young used defense and her speed to add 8 points as well. The highlight of the game though as we were able to get Olivia Leising into the game for the final seconds so she could join her teammates on the court after injuring herself a couple of games back.

‘This was a special group of girls and I am very proud of how they played for each other. We also could not have done it without Coach Trenkamp and the 5th Grade Girls. They helped us all year and they all did a great job. Thank you to everyone at St. Louis for the support.’ Cardinals Coach Brent Young.
