Linda Diane Jackson, 67, of Dillsboro passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. Elizabeth in Florence, Kentucky. Linda was born Tuesday, November 17, 1953 in Middletown, Ohio, daughter of the late Estel and Inez (Smith) Ashcraft. Linda married Denver Jackson on November 24, 1971. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed going shopping and loved making new items crafting and sewing.
Linda is survived by her husband Denver of forty-nine years; son Daryl (Julie) Jackson of Milan; daughter Dianna (Matt) Petty of Lawrenceburg; brother Rick (Terri) Ashcraft of Urbana; sisters Patty (Bill) Ledgerwood of Huntington, Elaine (Bill) Hankins of Columbus, and Angie (Dave) Moon of Wabash; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Estel and Inez, brothers Mark and Roger Ashcraft, and sisters Sherry Phelps and Brenda Clevenger.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember Linda from 11 AM – 1 PM Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. A service celebrating her life will immediately follow at 1 PM with Pastor Charles Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Linda to Oakdale Cemetery or Dillsboro American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
