St. Leon, IN — Equusearch Midwest, a not-for-profit organizational branch in Ohio, was in St. Leon on Wednesday for a second search for Johnny Werner. Werner was last seen on February 12 when he was having family dinner at his parents’ home near East Central High School. Equusearch Midwest covers the Midwest and beyond, the Ohio Chapter of Texas Equusearch (Galveston, TX) is based in Cincinnati, Ohio to help aid families in finding their missing loved ones.
Nearly 40 people came out on Wednesday evening to look for the Dearborn County men. Coordinated searches of ponds were done by the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office. As of now, the family says there will be no more coordinated searches unless a viable tip comes to light.
