Southeastern, IN — WRBI meteorologist Megan Mulford reports that Batesville received 5.2 inches of snow overnight and that Greensburg saw a little over 8 inches of snow. Indianapolis metro area saw 3-7 inches of snow. This was topped with mixed precipitation of sleet and ice in the overnight hours.
Lingering light snow throughout the rest of the day and possibly isolated snow showers Wednesday afternoon. Megan says there will be another chance for snow on Thursday, with at least 1-2 inches of precipitation, possibly more.
While accumulating snowfall has ended, road conditions may remain hazardous until maintenance crews are able to plow and salt. Use caution if driving and allow extra time to reach your destination.
