Ripley, Franklin, Decatur, and several other counties are under a travel advisory from the snow system that has moved into the region.
Avoid traveling if possible. Roads are being treated by crews but the heaviest snow is expected to continue falling through 1 am. Rain is expected to mix with snow around 2 am. The Winter Weather Advisory for the area is through 10 am Sunday.
