Cardinals Hoops Results

The St. Louis 7th Grade Boys hosted their last season game against St Mary’s Greensburg. They brought home the win with a final score of 40-30.

Scoring for SLS was Jaiden Kurosawa with 19 pts, Caleb Mohr with 14 pts, Jack Freeland with 3 pts, and both Vincent Meneses and Ben Greiwe had 2 pts. What a great way to end the season with a win. They will play Monday in Round 1 of the SEI tournament against Batesville Middle School.

The 8th-Grade Boys from St. Louis took on the Knights from St. Mary’s Greensburg on Tuesday, January 12th.  Despite losing in the end the Cardinals kept battling until the end.  The final score was 50-20. 

The Cardinals were led in scoring by Sam Laloge with 6 points, followed by Adam Meer and Ryan Duerstock with 5, and Max Amberger and Marc Meneses each with 2.  Laloge led the team in rebounds with 10 followed by Duerstock with 6, Meer with 5, Amberger with 4, and Sully Hill with 3.  Laloge also led the team in steals with 4, followed by Meer with 3 and Santiago Schutte with 3. 

The Cardinals next game is the 1st round of the SEI Tournament on Monday, January 18th when they take on Batesville.  The game will be played at Oldenburg Academy.

The 8th Grade Cardinals from St. Louis took on the Saints from St. Nicholas on Monday, January 11th while celebrating 8th Grade Night.  The Cardinals gave excellent effort the entire game, but in the end, lost by a score of 34-20. 

Sam Laloge had a nice all-around game by scoring 4 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, blocking 5 shots, and 2 steals.  Adam Meer led the team in points with 8 while grabbing 2 rebounds with 2 steals.  Max Amberger led the team in rebounds with 8, while scoring 4 points and also collecting a block and assist.  Sully Hill and Ryan Duerstock each scored 2 points.  Santiago Schutte played good defense throughout the game by collecting 2 steals.  Marc Meneses collected 3 rebounds and 1 steal. 

The Cardinals next game is on Tuesday, January 12th when they take on St. Mary’s Greensburg at home.
