Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 14,586 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 526,071 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,667,473 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 19.7% positive rate and 299 new deaths were reported for a total of 8,111 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 3,928 cases and 40 deaths reported (up 93 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,162 positive cases and 76 deaths (up 59 new cases and 3 new deaths), Franklin County has 1,260 positive cases and 29 deaths (up 47 new cases and 1 new death), and Ripley County has 2,560 positive cases and 41 deaths (up 84 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 283 new positive cases and 5 new deaths.
