Update: Reward offered for return of lost son’s skis

Lawrenceburg, IN

Update — According to a social media post from Grant’s mom, Perfect North Slopes called the family to report that the skies were returned anonymously to the ski area today.

Original Story — A Cincinnati family is asking for the public’s help finding their son’s skies after they were taken from Perfect North Slopes on Monday evening. Grant Renner and a friend had been taking a break to eat, and after finished were off to go night ski when they discovered that the skies were missing. After a search of the area and involving management, it was discovered by video surveillance that they were indeed taken from the premises.

These weren’t just any skies though, they have a very special meaning as they happened to have belonged to Grant’s brother Tyler who passed away in 2016. Grant had just received a pair of boots for Christmas that would fit the skies.

They are asking if you know anything, please find it in your heart to return the skies to Perfect North Slopes, no questions asked. The Howard Clay Loadman Foundation, a foundation that brings light to those lives lost early due to addiction, has even heard about this story and is offering a $250 reward for the return of the skis.
