Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 4,731 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday. A total of 476,249 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,556,493 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 18.6% positive rate and 62 new deaths were reported for a total of 7,306 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 3,512 cases and 40 deaths reported (up 48 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,971 positive cases and 65 deaths (up 21 new cases and 2 new deaths), Franklin County has 1,105 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 19 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,284 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 24 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 112 new positive cases and 2 new deaths.
