Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 6,655 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday. A total of 350,970 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,232,102 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 15.7% positive rate and 91 new deaths were reported for a total of 5,688 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 2,497 cases and 33 deaths reported (up 55 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 1,418 positive cases and 46 deaths (up 11 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 795 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 11 new cases and 1 new death), and Ripley County has 1,645 positive cases and 21 deaths (up 39 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 116 new positive cases and 3 new deaths.
