Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 5,606 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday. A total of 300,913 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,090,728 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 14.2% positive rate and 27 new deaths were reported for a total of 5,067 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 2,088 cases and 30 deaths reported (up 42 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,235 positive cases and 42 deaths (up 37 new cases), Franklin County has 659 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 24 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,237 positive cases and 14 deaths (up 23 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 126 new positive cases.
