Alice R. Schuler, 94, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Wednesday November 18, 2020.
She was born July 24, 1926 in Calvin, VA, daughter of the late Earl Steele and Verna (Roberts) Steele
She served her country as a member of the United States Army during WWII.
Alice was a member of Aurora First United Methodist Church. She was also in the Kitchen Band and a member of RSVP. Alice was an avid reader. She enjoyed gardening and was an excellent seamstress. She loved her cat, Bobbi. Her family was her pride and joy and she will be missed by them all.
Alice is survived by her children, Brenda Watts of Aurora, IN, Cheri (Don) Pfahler of Indianapolis, IN, John (Jana) Schuler of Heltonville, IN; grandchildren, Chris Watts, Corey Pfahler, Jonathan Pfahler, Emily Heming, step grandchildren, Jimmy Garland, Angela (Nathan) Damm, Jacob Sells, and Katie Sells; great-grandchildren, Max Friedman, Jameson Heming, Riley Garland.
She was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Verna, husband, Willis Schuler, and sister, Nancy Ann Steele.
Private services will be held at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Southeastern Indiana Honor Guard.
