Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 5,541 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 262,207 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,969,088 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 13.3% positive rate and 84 new deaths were reported for a total of 4,770 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 1,766 cases and 29 deaths reported (up 49 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,070 positive cases and 41 deaths (up 14 new cases), Franklin County has 559 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 12 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,018 positive cases and 13 deaths (up 25 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 100 new positive cases.
