West Harrison, IN — The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office has provided an update to the hit-and-run accident that occurred on Sunday in West Harrison including the name of the victim.
In the early morning hours of Sunday, a male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle that left the scene of the crash in the area of Whitewater Motors along Harrison Brookville Road in West Harrison. The vehicle was described as a full size, dark-colored Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck. The truck would have shown damage to the front passenger side of the truck and may be missing the passenger side headlamp.
The victim in the incident was identified as Casey Webb, 25, of Cincinnati, Ohio. On November 3rd, the driver of the truck was identified and the truck was located. The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office says that once charges are filed, a person will be named.
